The release of the brand new Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU has us pretty excited. Nvidia’s 30 series has offered us a huge range of benefits, from their premium RTX 3090 to their latest and more affordable 3050. However, if you’re looking for high performance without a huge price, the RTX 3070 laptop and 3070 Ti laptop are Nvidias latest mid-range graphics cards that may be perfect for your needs.

Both the RTX 3070 and 3070Ti are generally within the affordable range of GPUs, with the RTX 3070 Ti sitting at a slightly higher price. When it comes to new GPUs we can expect higher prices, especially in the first year or so after their release, so RRPs probably aren’t the most accurate measures to use. Therefore we can’t say for sure what the GPU will be selling for upon it release, but we do know it will sit slightly above the RTX 3070.

So, with this small increase in price, you may be wondering if the improvements in specs and features justify it. As you can see from the table above, most of the specs on the two are pretty, with the main stand-out being more Cuda cores on the 3070 Ti. This can offer you a faster rendering of frames, offering better frame rates, an increase in performance as well as sharper and more lifelike graphics.

Both laptop GPUs are made for both gamers and creators as they have DLSS for improved rendering, RTX for enhanced visuals and are even backed by Nvidia studio. These are mostly thanks to dedicated Tensor and RT cores.

Well, the two GPUs are petty similar, the extra Cuda Cores within the 3070 Ti can offer an improvement in performance and therefore could be considered the better GPU. That being said, it’s worth being mindful of its slightly higher price.
