How to Play Your PS5 On Your Phone or Tablet When Not At Home

How to play the PS5 on your Smartphone or tablet
Step 1) Download the PS Remote Play app from the Playstore or App Store onto your smartphone or tablet.
Step 2) Set up your PS5 console by going into ‘settings’, then ‘system’, ‘remote play’ and’ enable remote play’.
Step 3) To be able to start remote play when your Playstation is in rest mode you must go to the consoles ‘settings’ again and select ‘system’, ‘power saving’, ‘features available in rest mode’. Then check the boxes for ‘stay connected to the internet and ‘enable turning on PS5 from network’.
Step 4) When leaving the house, ensure to leave the console in rest mode.
Step 5) Open up the PS Remote Play app on your phone or tablet, and sign in with the same PlayStation Network account that is on the console.
Step 6) Click on the PS5 console you want to connect to, and then enjoy gaming on your PS5 through your devices screen.
To connect your PS5 controller to your smartphone or tablet
Step 1) Press and hold both the PS button and share button on your controller until the light around the touchpad is flashing, which indicates it’s ready to pair.
Step 2) Then open up the Bluetooth settings on your phone or tablet and click on the DualSense controller in order to pair them.
Step 3) Have fun using your PS5 controller to play games on the go!
