UKs first live 8K HDR sports broadcast is delivered by Samsung and BT Sport


On February 27th the UEFA Europa League match between Arsenal and Olympiacos became the first live sports event in the UK to be broadcast in 8K.  Samsung and BT Sports came together in perfect harmony, beaming 8K live on a bespoke outside broadcast that heralded a new era in TV entertainment.
With a total of 33 million pixels supported by HDR10+, the Samsung QLED 8K TV offers resolution that is four times that of 4K, picture perfection that makes viewers feel as though they are really part of the action.
Samsung TV has been the No.1 selling TV Brand for 13 consecutive years by IHS Markit, pioneering in 8K technology and now the broadcasting world is catching up.
