VR world reaches new levels

The HTC Vive has taken the VR world by storm. Will Denton, product manager at Box, offers an insight into one of the newest introductions to the company’s range.

There are always plenty of predictions when a new year approaches and here is one I’m pretty confident will come true. The virtual reality world will continue to become increasingly popular in 2019.

With that in mind, we are delighted to have the HTC Vive Pro Full Kit available to Box customers. It truly is one of the jewels in the virtual reality crown.

The HTC Vive provides the most immersive gaming experience ever, with a front facing camera allowing elements of the real world to appear in the virtual world.

There is an endless feel of features to the technology, including one-to-one movement tracking, an extraordinarily natural feel to the movement and incredible in-class controllers.

A display resolution of 1440 x 1600 pixels per eye provides an incredible user experience, along with  110 degrees field of view and unprecedented presence through Hi-Res and 3D spatial audio.

With super rich and vibrant colours, incredible sounds and true-to-life tracking, the experience is unrivalled and, as more games get added to the VR portfolio, this could be a worthwhile long-term investment.

The HTC Vive Pro Full Kit includes two HTC VIVE Controllers, headset, headset cable and face cushion, as well as a host of other items to maximise the VR experience.
