9th Gen Intel Core set to make gaming even better
The wait is over -
the 9th Generation
of Intel® Core™ desktop processors have been released.
Intel is still the king of desktop processors, and this new
generation gives users the best ever experience when gaming, recording or
streaming.
It’s the first mainstream
Intel chip to boast 8-cores and 16 threads. In terms of cache, the chip will
feature 16MB of L3 and will come with an Intel UHD 620 graphics chip.
Without question, the new processors are the most powerful
generation to date and have already been in high demand with serious gamers since
being released earlier this month.
As per usual, Intel’s 9th Gen of desktop CPUs will include
Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 variants. The overclockable i5, i7 and i9 will be
out next week, while the rest of the 9th Gen processors, including
the i3, will be released on a date yet to be announced.
The key difference this time is that there will also be a
new 8-core Core i9 category available as well. This means it will be the first
time these previously workstation-grade CPUs are being aimed at regular PC
users.

gamers? Enthusiastic gamers want fantastic in-game performance while streaming
and recording, and these processors ensure a seamless experience.
In terms of artificial intelligence, these Unlocked 9th
Gen Intel® Core™ processors have the
power to drive the AI engines of modern AAA games. In a nutshell, this means
the performance is there to generate entire armies of non-playable characters
(NPCs) which are incredibly responsive during gameplay. This makes the game more
immersive and realistic.
When
computer-generated bodies are damaged or thrown around, they react almost like
a ragdoll by naturally flopping, rolling and bouncing onscreen. These new
processors are powerful enough for the sophisticated physics processing required
